Pemanfaatan ICT pada Berbagai Bidang Industri

ICT (Information and Communication Technology)  yang dapat diartikan sebagai Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi, merupakan suatu istilah yang berupa keseluruhan peralatan teknis untuk memproses dan menyampaikan informasi. Istilah ini banyak digunakan saat ini karena di zaman sekarang kita semakin dekat dan semakin sering memanfaatkan teknologi. Dengan teknologi kita semua dapat berkomunikasi dan juga mendapatkan informasi dari berbagai belahan dunia. Oleh karena itu, penguasaan akan ICT sangat dibutuhkan di saat ini dan di masa mendatang.

Hampir seluruh masyarakat di Indonesia saat ini sudah sadar akan teknologi. Walaupun penggunaan akan teknologinya masih lebih berfokus pada social media. Namun ini membuktikan bahwa pemanfaatan ICT sendiri saat ini sudah terbilang baik.  Pengembangan teknologi setiap saatnya, semakin mempermudah masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi dan berkomunikasi. Dengan pemanfaatan ICT di sektor perekonomian, sekarang e-commerce (online shop dan online store)dapat dikunjungi secara mudah oleh semua kalangan. Lalu pemanfaatan ICT di sektor pendidikan, memunculkan istilah e-learning, e-book, e-library, juga pemanfaatan ICT pada sektor industri. 1.      Bidang Pendidikan

Dengan  adanya komputer akan mempermudah bagi pegawai administrasi sekolah untuk membuat kurikulum pengajaran, jadwal pelajaran sekolah, membuat daftar nama siswa, membuat daftar nilai siswa, membuat absen siswa, membuat perhitungan gaji pegawai dan membuat perencanaan pengajaran bagi guru-guru sekolah. Dalam bidang industri, komputer digunakan pada proses perencanaan sebuah produk baru melalui program desain, seperti Computer Aided Design (CAD). Gunanya, agar produk yang diinginkan dapat dirancang secara cepat, mudah, dan memiliki ketepatan tinggi. Sebagai contoh, untuk menggambar bentuk desain mobil dibutuhkan waktu yang lama dan relatif sulit apabila dilakukan secara manual. Dari penjelasan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran ITC dalam bidang industri dan manufaktur sangat besar, di antaranya adalah sebagai berikut :

a.  Sebagai alat bantu untuk merancang produk baru secara cepat, mudah, dan tepat (akurat).

b.  Proses produksi dapat dilakukan dengan sesedikit mungkin tenaga manusia sehingga mengurangi resiko fisik yang dapat dialami oleh manusia.

3.      Pengintegrasian di dalam Perusahaan

Penerapan ICT banyak digunakan para usahawan. Kebutuhan efisiensi waktu dan biaya menyebabkan setiap pelaku usaha merasa perlu menerapkan teknologi informasi dalam lingkungan kerja. Penerapan Teknologi Informasi dan komunikasi menyebabkan perubahan pada kebiasaan kerja. Misalnya penerapan Enterprice Resource Planning (ERP). ERP adalah salah satu aplikasi perangkat lunak yang mencakup sistem manajemen dalam perusahaan, cara lama kebanyakan.

4.      Bidang Pembangunan

Yang kedua adalah kemampuan untuk menciptakan dan mendorong lingkungan yang mendukung. Ini artinya membangun aplikasi dan konten untuk memanfaatkan inftrastruktur sesuai dengan kebutuhan lokal. Aplikasi ini misalnya adalah aplikasi kebutuhan harian, aplikasi komunitas, aplikasi pendidikan dan aplikasi produktif. TIK dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi dan sosial yang sangat besar kepada banyak pihak bila strategi TIK yang tepat diimplementasikan. Pertimbangan utama dalam desain dan implementasi strategi TIK mencakup memproduksi dan memanfaatkan TIK untuk kepentingan sosial dan ekonomi, mengembangkan sumber daya manusia untuk dapat mengimplementasikan strategi secara efektif, mengelola inovasi iptek di bidang TIK demi pengembangan yang berkelanjutan, memperbaiki akses ke jaringan TIK, mempromosikan dan mendanai investasi TIK, menciptakan dan mengakses pengetahuan iptek, memonitor dan mempengaruhi aturan internasional.

5.      Bidang Olah Raga

Pertandingan sepak bola piala dunia di tayangkan oleh satelit yang dihubungkan dengan pesawat penerima di bumi kemudian dipancarkan ke seluruh satelit pemancar TV di belahan bumi, sehingga acara olah raga sedunia itu bisa dinikmati oleh semua orang.

Contoh penggunaan atau penerapan ICT pada sektor pertaniann yaitu untuk tingkat pengembangan suatu perusahaan pengolahan hasil panen,  bantuan ICT sangat berpengaruh pada proses kegiatan perusahaan tersebut seperti meliputi proses produksi dan pemasaran.
